1.Introduction and agreement
Welcome to the doorstep courier service run by HF DELIVERY LIMITED. This page forms the entire agreement between you and us for the use of this website and for every delivery we carry on your behalf. Where this text says you it means the person or business that books or receives a delivery, and where it says we, our or the Company it means HF DELIVERY LIMITED.
When you place an order, request a quote or hand a parcel to one of our couriers, you are accepting these terms in full. If there is any part of this page you do not agree with, please do not book with us and instead speak to our office on +14849338796, where a member of the team will gladly talk the rules through.
2.Who provides these services
HF DELIVERY is the trading name of HF DELIVERY LIMITED, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Our official name, address and contact details appear below so that you always know exactly who you are dealing with:
HF DELIVERY LIMITED
19 Strathdene Road, Birmingham - B29 6QL, United Kingdom (GB)
Company contact: Qing Yunlong
Email: office@hfdelivery.autos
Phone: +14849338796
Every courier who drives for this Company is acting on our behalf and under our direction. That means a single accountable business stands behind every route we carry, which is exactly what a sender needs at the end of a long day.
3.Your role as the sender
When you book a delivery you take on a few fair duties that keep every route honest. You promise that you own the parcel or that you have authority to send it, that the contents are lawful and safe to carry, and that the address and contact details you give us are accurate and complete.
You also accept that you will pay the agreed price for the service, that fragile or valuable items are packed so they can survive an ordinary journey, and that you will tell us at the point of booking about anything unusual about the parcel, such as an awkward shape or a need for special care.
If you are sending on behalf of another person or a company, you confirm that you have the right to bind that party to these terms. Keeping the sender box honest is the first and simplest step to a clean delivery.
4.Making a booking
A booking can begin by phone, by email to office@hfdelivery.autos or through the contact form on this site. Every booking is confirmed only when our office accepts it and gives you a pickup window and a route price, because the courier network needs a clear yes before a van leaves the yard.
Once we accept your booking we will tell you when our courier expects to arrive at your door. That time is given whenever it is practical to do so, but an exact minute can never be guaranteed on a busy Birmingham road. We aim to keep every slot honest and we will always tell you if the day runs late.
If you book a same day run please have your parcel ready and your address easy to find. A few minutes of preparation on your side can save far more time once the courier is on the road toward you.
5.Prices and payment
Our prices are quoted clearly before a run begins and take into account the route distance, the size and weight of the parcel and any special handling it needs. You will always receive a firm figure before we confirm the pickup, so there are no surprises on the doorstep or on the invoice.
Payment for single runs is due when the service is booked or, where we agree otherwise, at the successful delivery of the parcel. Business customers on an account receive a monthly statement covering all their runs in one clear document, with payment due as described on that statement.
Prices are shown in the local currency and may change when quoted again for a different route or a later date. Once we confirm a price for an accepted booking, we hold to it, because a quoted route is a promise.
6.Parcels we will not carry
We carry most ordinary goods, but some things are too dangerous or too illegal for any van to move safely. You must never hand us a parcel that contains explosives, flammables, corrosive chemicals, illegal drugs or weapons, or any item that could harm a driver or break the law of the countries it crosses.
We also decline live animals, perishable food that cannot survive a standard journey, and cash or precious metal sent without an agreed service to carry them. If we accept a parcel and later discover it falls into a refused category, we are entitled to stop the run and refuse to carry it onward.
When in doubt about whether we can carry your item, ask us before you book. A short phone call to our office can save a parcel from a wasted journey and keeps everyone, including your own goods, out of harm.
7.Labeling and packing duties
A well packed parcel is the most reliable parcel we carry. You are responsible for packing your goods so that they can survive the normal bumps and stacks of a delivery run, and for making sure the address label is legible, firmly attached and matched to the delivery you booked with us.
Fragile items should be wrapped in cushioning and marked clearly, and liquids should be sealed in a leak proof inner container. Where we judge at collection that a parcel is so badly packed that it cannot travel safely, we may decline to carry it or ask you to repack it before we set out.
If you would like our help we offer correct packaging for many specialty items, and our couriers carry spare wrap for the road. Asking for a repack at the door is far cheaper than replacing what a loose box breaks on the way.
8.Collection duties
When the courier arrives we rely on you to hand over the parcel and, for many services, to agree the record of what was collected. Please have the parcel ready at the agreed time so the van can stay on schedule, both for you and for the neighbours further down the same route.
If nobody is available at the agreed pickup window we will try to contact you to rearrange. Where a courier must return a second time because a parcel was not ready, we may apply a reasonable second visit charge, which we always explain before we apply it.
The collection address and the contact phone you give us must be live on the day of the run. A message asking where the parcel should go is only useful if the number you left us actually rings.
9.Delivery and proof
We deliver to the address you gave us, or to the agreed pickup point or safe place when you chose that option. On arrival the courier will hand the parcel over where the recipient is present, or will follow your written direction when the doorstep is empty.
For most runs we capture proof of delivery that confirms the parcel was accepted. This is a signed record at the door or a photograph of the parcel in place. We hold that proof and share it with the sender, giving both sides an honest answer to the oldest question in the courier trade, which is whether the box truly arrived.
We will always make a genuine effort to fulfil a delivery at the agreed time. We cannot, however, guarantee a precise minute over a real road network, and neither can any courier who is honest about how traffic behaves.
10.Business contracts and routes
Business customers who carry steady volume can agree a standing route with us, joining several addresses on one regular loop. Contract prices, service windows and billing terms are set out in the written agreement we sign with each such customer together, and they sit alongside but do not replace these general terms.
Under a route contract you let us know your dispatch volume each day, and we hold a van and a driver ready to collect at your agreed window. If your volume changes permanently you may ask us to adjust the route, the frequency or the price with reasonable notice on both sides.
Where these terms and a specific contract ever disagree, the specific contract wins for the points it covers. This keeps everyday business flexibility while making sure the safety and honesty rules of these terms always stay in force.
11.Cancellation and returns
Life changes quickly and we understand that a plan may need to move. You may cancel or reschedule a pickup at no cost up to one hour before the agreed window, so please call or email us as soon as you know the plan has changed.
Once our courier is on the way to you, or has already collected the parcel, we may apply a fair charge to cover the journey we have already committed. If the parcel is returned to you mid route at your request, we charge the return travel and the handling in the same clear way.
If we have to cancel a run at our own side because of a driver issue, an accident or a road closure, we refund any amount already paid and help you replan the delivery at the earliest sensible slot.
12.Loss, delay and damage
We carry your parcel with real care, but nobody can promise a courier route will never face an accident. Where a parcel is lost, delayed or damaged during our handling, we will look honestly at what happened and do our best to put it right under the rules of this section and any insurance you have added.
We are responsible for loss or damage that results from our own carelessness, but we cannot be held liable for problems caused by forces outside our control entirely, such as extreme weather, road closures ordered by the authorities, or a fault hidden inside goods that were poorly packed by the sender before we saw them.
If a parcel does not arrive or arrives damaged, raise the matter with us quickly, ideally within a few days while our records and the courier are still fresh. The sooner you tell us, the sooner we can trace the route and settle the matter.
13.Insurance and declared value
We carry a sensible level of cover on every standard run so that the everyday parcel is protected as a matter of course. Beyond that baseline, we offer optional insurance for valuable or fragile goods, and we encourage you to declare the true value of anything that would be painful to lose.
Declaring a value lets us handle the parcel with the extra care and the extra cover it deserves. If you do not declare a value, any claim is limited to the sorts of sums set out in the service you booked and nowhere near the replacement cost of a rare object.
For specialty loads such as artwork, instruments or components we will often build an agreed value into the price of the run. Please tell us the value at booking rather than after a problem, because a cover figure is only as good as the day it was agreed.
14.Your conduct online
This website is a working shop front for the courier service, and we ask visitors to use it with the same courtesy their own doorstep deserves. You agree not to misuse the site, to overload it, to attempt to break into any part of it or to collect data from it by automated means without asking us first.
You must not use the site to send us misleading bookings, to try to obtain a service under a false name or a false address, or to upload anything that carries a virus or that could harm our systems. We keep the site safe for everyone who relies on it.
If we believe the site is being used to disrupt our service or to defraud another customer, we reserve the right to refuse further bookings and to report serious abuse to the relevant authority where the law calls for it.
15.Intellectual property
The design, text, colour scheme, logo and the doorstep and pillar box artwork shown on this site belong to HF DELIVERY LIMITED or to the licensors who allow us to use them. Nothing on these pages hands you a licence to copy the brand for your own business.
You may copy a small amount of the text for a private note or a quote, but you may not reproduce the whole site, reuse our logo for a competing courier or pass off HF DELIVERY as your own. We ask only that the work of our team is treated with the honesty we bring to your parcels.
Should you ever want to feature our work in a piece about Birmingham delivery services, write to our office and we will gladly grant a clear permission rather than receive a polite request later on the wrong side of the law.
16.Liability limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, HF DELIVERY LIMITED will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from a delivery, such as lost profit or a business deal that fell away because a parcel was late. Direct physical loss or damage to a parcel is dealt with under the insurance and value rules of this page.
We exclude liability for matters we genuinely cannot control and for any loss caused by a fault in the packing or the information that you provided about a parcel. Nothing in these terms removes a right the law gives you that cannot be restricted, and we respect that line exactly.
In all cases where we are liable to you as a consumer, the cap on our total liability for any one run is the realistic insured value of the parcel together with the sum you paid for that delivery, never a figure detached from the reality of the box.
17.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect new services, new law or a fairer way of describing the road we already travel. When we make a change that could matter to you we will update the date at the top of this page and give active customers a clear note rather than burying the change in a corner.
Your continued booking with us after an update counts as acceptance of the new terms. Where the law says a change needs your fresh agreement rather than mere notice, we will ask for that agreement openly and will not force you into it by a quiet update.
We keep earlier copies of these terms on file, so if you ever need to know what we promised on the very day you first posted with us, a person on our team can show you the exact words that were in force that day.
18.Contact and law
These terms and every courier booking you make with us are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be settled by a friendly word will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, which keeps every doorstep under the same clear set of rules.

Whatever the law books say, the best route through any question starts with a polite phone call to our office. We are always glad to talk through a route, a bill or a parcel before either of us needs a lawyer to translate the mile.
